Final Major Project...

Well the first job of my FMP is to get my vegan kid's book done. During the last unit I was able to complete 6 final pages without text. Incorporating text will be on the agenda this time, as you will see below. I sort of want to use hand written text but it's important that text is easily readable in children's books so it's going to be a tough call. In the below image I've got examples of hand written and a font. I could post a thousand variations on text colour and font style/size but I think you get the idea. I need to play around with them more before deciding.

You may also notice that I've added a couple of Pokemon references just for fun. Also, I'm sort of stuck on what to spend the rest of my project on. I will either write and illustrate another children's book, a darker and less literal one (of which I may already have an idea), or I will create several smaller templates of children's stories that can be used to create custom stories for children. So for example, I might have a story about pirates, where the person purchasing it can insert the name of their child/children into the story as the main protagonist, perhaps with additional characters. This is something that is common already, but it would be nice if people could also get custom drawings of their child as the protagonist. This would be more work obviously, and would therefore fetch a higher price. I need to discuss this stuff with my tutors first anyway. Or I'll do both of those things! Probably not though. First things first,  finish this book!
